Jan Zimmermann: Storytelling and Music Lessons for All Ages

Jan has been a flautist for over forty-five years, studying privately and at university. Jan has been teaching flute for over thirty years out of her Rockport studio to children, teens and adults, and for the past ten years has added beginning recorder and piano lessons as well. Her emphasis is to give a sound background in technique and musicality in hopes of the student finding the joy of music in his/her own playing.

Private lessons are available in half hour, 3/4 hour, or full hour increments, Monday through Thursday. She also runs a weekly flute choir whenever possible. Student recitals are given once or twice a year.
